Data Validation & Definitions

Floorplans are assigned to each unit and they control how rent charges work as well as track inspection locations for use during inspections.

Below are the field names and descriptions to help ensure each are filled out properly to ensure accurate onboarding of your data.

  • Floorplan Name: Name your floorplan(s) however you wish. Typically that can be a customized name or many users prefer to just use the Bed-x-Bath dictation.
  • Square Feet: This notes how large the floorplan is.
  • Beds x Baths: Please enter the number of bedrooms and bathrooms that are available for the floorplan.
  • Utility Allowance: This is intended to enable participating families to pay typical costs for utilities and services. Generally this is a HUD based notation, so fill it out as needed.
  • Inspection Locations: Inspection locations are needed so they can be used during Unit Inspections. You filled these out earlier in Inspection Locations. If All Inspection Locations are associated with the floorplan, simply write "All".
  • Designations and Pricing: Designations can be classified as the version of the unit being rented. Generally designations go from a 1-100 scale and this is how you can price various designations differently in the floorplan. Please enter this information in a format similar to designation:price so 100:1200 is valid.
