Payments Overview
There are 2 types of Payments in ExactEstate; Merchant Payments and External Payments.
Merchant Payments use our partnered payment processor, which clients set up through our account representative. Each Property must have a Merchant Account associated with it in order to use the Merchant Payment functionality within the system.
External Payments are any types of payment accepted that does not use our Merchant Processing Functionality in the system. These could be payments through Check, Money Order, Cash, or anything that does not use a Credit Card.
Note: As there are always small processing fees between you and the credit card agencies, we provide the ability to alter surcharge amounts in the Admin Help page.
