How to use Manual Generation Tasks

Most actions in ExactEstate are automatic, but if for any reason you need to complete larger tasks manually we offer the ability to do so.

To manually generate tasks, please follow the steps below.

Step 1. Navigate to the Admin tab under the Main Menu, click Admin Settings.

Step 2. Navigate to the Generation Tasks section.

• Options
  • Option 1: Click Generate Rent
    • When rent is generated using this action all Residents with Auto-Payment enabled will make a Payment for the new Charges that are created during the Rent Generation Process. If Rent is Generated multiple times in a month, this will cause an imbalance with Charges and Payments for the individuals that have Auto-Payments enabled as we also remove current month Rental Charges.
    • To manually generate rent, click Generate Rent for X Property
  • Option 2: Generate Late Fees
    • Choose to generate late fees for the single property you have selected or for the whole portfolio of properties you have in the system. 
  • Option 3: Generate Utility Bills
    • Choose to generate utility bills, i.e. Water Bill Charges, for the selected property.
